mod. Designer Camera Strap Review & $40 Giveaway

In the past, I've always received cheap cameras, which was fine with me since I have two boys that always managed to get their hands on them. Now that I am blogging more, I knew it was time to finally invest in a good camera, so I bought a Canon Rebel, the camera I have wanted for years and years! It came with a black strap with the logo plastered on it. Yuck! I wanted something stylish and comfortable. This is when I found out about mod. camera straps and camera accessories.

About mod.
mod. by C. Decor is a mother and daughter owned business created by Jeannie Cheatham and Amber Clay. An avid photo enthusiast, Amber was searching for a new camera strap. All she found were low quality straps in limited basic styles and colors. She set out to create her own strap cover using her existing strap as the base. Choosing stylish fabrics in vibrant colors and textures, she began sewing on her grandmother’s old sewing machine with Jeannie’s help. The idea for a business was taking form.

The results? Camera straps that are not only stylish, but also durable and high quality!

My Thoughts
Looking through all of the different products and straps offered by mod., I was in photographer heaven. There were so any different designs from which to choose, all of them stylish and modern. I had the most difficult task of choosing which strap I liked the most. I decided on the Tear Drop print in the premium category of straps. Unfortunately, this print is no long available, but there are several new prints that are amazing! The premium straps have the print on one side and a soft, Minky Cuddle Plush fabric on the other to make the strap soft and comfortable around your neck when wearing it during a photo shoot or outing.

ModCameraStraps

In addition to being fashionable, the strap can withstand up to 70 pounds of weight, which is just incredible! My camera is not even close to that weight, but I can see how this would benefit those with more attachments and bigger lenses. I know the strap is durable because it has already been traveling with me through several states and photo shoots... and my two boys. It still looks brand new.

If you don't have a DSLR/SLR camera, mod. also offers cases for smaller compact cases with stylish designs, too! There is something for everyone. So, now that you've learned a little about mod., are you ready for your chance to win?

I would love to have the Grey & Mustard Neck Pad for my old 35mm Canon (which I love for tactile film).... It gets irritating on the neck after a shoot though & I just never have sat down to actually search for a neck pad. This one is lovely! I would likely get the matching (hrm... or perhaps a mismatched!) camera strap, too! Thanks!
