HALO SleepSack Wearable Blanket Review & Giveaway Open to US & CA

As parents, we are all concerned with what's best for our children and babies. We bring baby home from the hospital and we immediately start learning! Before bringing our first child home, I had heard horror stories about SIDS and suffocation in the crib, which had me researching and planning ahead of time. This is when I heard about the HALO SleepSack. It's an amazing wearable blanket that is not only #1 trusted choice of hospitals nationwide, but they are dedicated to educating others about SIDS and donate a percentage of sales to research, education and family support.

About HALO
The unique HALO® SleepSack® wearable blanket replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby's face and interfere with breathing. No wonder it's the #1 trusted choice of hospitals and parents alike. In addition to sleeping safer, the HALO SleepSack wearable blanket helps babies sleep better too. It's a warm, cuddly blanket they can't kick off, ensuring baby sleeps soundly throughout the night. And when baby is sleeping safe and sound, moms and dads can rest easy.

My Thoughts

Both of my boys are very active sleepers, which means there is no use even putting a blanket on them because it will be thrown off in a matter of minutes! It was very frustrating when Josiah was a baby because he'd wake up too cold if I didn't put on enough clothing or too hot if I put on too much or snuggled him with a blanket. Plus, I wanted him to be safe. I had no idea what to do until I heard about the HALO SleepSack. I was so excited to finally use one when Liam was born!

Liam was not only a preemie, but right after he was born, the weather went from 80 degrees to below 60 every day. The little kicker slept most of the day for the first month, so the HALO SleepSack was seriously a lifesaver for us! We have always used the 100% Cotton HALO SleepSack wearable blankets and the one we received for the review was a boyish sky blue. I put it on over his clothes, zipped him up and he was nice and snug. He could kick to his heart's content and it would still keep him nice and warm, never falling off or getting loose. Plus, it's a much safer option because the baby is never at a risk for the blanket getting close to his/her face and interfering with breathing.

Liam loved his SleepSack and so did we. It's one of those must-have baby items for parents and I always recommend them to my friends. They make perfect baby shower gifts, too, because they are practical, will definitely be used, and are reasonably priced at right around $30.
