Getting Ready For the Holidays: Kritter Kondo Review & Early Giveaway Entries

Here at the DeBord house, we are huge animal lovers. If we could, I'm sure we'd have dogs, cats, monkeys, tigers, and more! Josiah brings about anything he can catch into this home, which is not always a good thing. Spiders are not so welcome! We currently have our kitty, Georgie, and my mom has two Yorkshire Terriers, little fluffy dogs. While Georgie is an outdoor kitty, Lucy and Jack are indoor dogs. We like taking them outside, but they have a tendency to run away so, you have to keep them on a leash and can't turn your back for one minute. It's like having a toddler!

Recently, I was contacted to review something called a Kritter Kondo and when I looked at the website, I couldn't wait to receive it! So many pet carriers and shelters are so small and borderline cruel, in my opinion. I can't stand stuffing my cat into his carrier to go to the vet, muchless to precious little doggies that love to run around. The Kritter Kondo allows pet owners to take pets outside and keep them safe without a leash or small carrier. The Kritter Kondo is a large enclosed pet condo! Pets have the freedom to stretch, run around, and actually enjoy being outside without the worries of chasing them around the entire time.
Kritter Kondo is absolutely perfect for pets 35 pounds and less. It's ideal for use on the patio, balcony, yard and courtyard. Plus, it's water resistant so, taking it to the beach would be a great idea, too. Now, I'm sure you are wondering how hard it would be to carry and set up such a huge pet enclosure. Well, the Kritter Kondo is collapsable and one-peice so, no stakes are used and only minimal assembly  is required. Also, it's very light-weight. A carrying case is included, making the Kritter Kondo even easier to transport, with handles and a shoulder strap.

Taking your pets outside or on a trip is very simply with the Kritter Kondo. There are also built-in pockets to carry your pets favorite toys, food, blanket, and/or bed. What more could you really ask for?

More Thoughts

When the Kritter Kondo was delivered, I was a little concerned with the size and weight. Getting it up our stairs was a challenge, though, once out of the delivery box, the contents were light and easy to handle. Big boxes can be very deceiving!

The Kritter Kondo was very easy to pull out and set up, just by affixing the outer shell joints together (what holds the enclosure together). That was it! I was amazed at the simplicity of putting the structure together and the end result. The enclosure was very sturdy and provided a huge amount of space for a pet. I've never seen one so large and open, allowing pets to see everything around them and get fresh air.

If you live in a condo or apartment, a Kritter Kondo would be great to put on your balcony or patio to create your very own catio! I can see so many instances in which the Kritter Kondo would be convenient and quite handy, such as going on vacation, picnic, or the beach. We are actually planning a trip to Disney World and you bet I will be taking the Kritter Kondo along for Jack and Lucy. They will love basking in the sun and hanging out on our balcony and my mom won't have a heart attack worrying about them every second.
Kritter Kondo Deluxe is also for sale!
If you have a small pet who loves to be outside, you live in an apartment, go on many road trips, you will love the Kritter Kondo. We actually had two little kittens show up on our front porch this weekend. I was so worried about then that we set up the Kritter Kondo, put in some blankets and food, and created a little catio for them on our deck. I was so worried about them getting attacked by a neighborhood dog or some other wild animal over night and I knew the Kritter Kondo would keep them safe. They were very happy with their new little house so, as of right now, it's still on the back porch for them to come and go as they please... and they always come back to sleep at night. Isn't that cute?

I just got a puppy and we live in an apartment. He would love to be able to go out on the deck and get some fresh air without me worrying that he'll fall off!

I would love this for my sister in law as when her dog comes to visit we have somewhere to put her outside as we don't have a fenced in yard!

My cat, Gigi, is an indoor cat who tries to escape through the garage and roll on the driveway. She will be thrilled to be outside and I won't have to worry about her.
Thanks for the contest.

Hi!
I would love to have this to give to my sis who is living w/her family and pooch at my parents. unfortunately the pooch has to stay in his crate most of the time. This would be a great option so he could be outside and there would be no worry of him running off and he wouldn't be cooped up!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to win in this giveaway.

We live on the 3rd floor in an apartment building. We have a nice patio, but the gaps between the railing are big enough that our yorkie can fall through- this would be perfect for him- he could get some time on the porch with the rest of the family and still be safe!

Our daughter's cat rarely goes outside, except on a leash. This would give him a chance to roll around in the grass and spend some quality time outside.
