Mother-ease Cloth Diapers Review & Giveaway

 About Mother-ease


The story of Mother-ease Cloth Diapers actually took me back to my childhood in the 80s. Remember prefolds and plastic pants? Eck! Erika and Rick, the owners of Mother-Ease were inspired to create a better fitting, more comfortable diaper after years of using the old method. Over the years, Mother-ease has grown along with their diaper selection, from the original All-In-Ones and One-Size to diaper covers, swim diapers and more! Now their selection even includes bamboo and organic options as well.

 My Thoughts
 

I received a Large Sandy's Introductory Offer package (20-35lbs), which includes a Sandy's Diaper, Sandy's Absorbent Liner, and an AirFlow™ Snap Cover of my choice! The package allowed me to try out several of their products and we definitely put them to the test. Even though Liam is 22lbs., the cover was still a bit big on him. I first tried the Sandy's diaper, liner, and snap cover on Liam as an overnight diaper. This is how I found out the cover was too big... he leaked a little. Once I tried a different cover, the Sandy's diaper and liner allowed for super absorbency and there wasn't one leak all night!

Then, I thought maybe I could use them on my 3 year old, Josiah, who is 32lbs. Mother-ease does make a training pant, but I decided to try out the Sandy's Diaper. It is made of a super soft cotton terry and made Josiah feel like he was really wearing "Big Boy Undies". Since the legs and waist have elastic, he was able to pull them up and down without help. That was another BIG plus for him! The Sandy's diaper is not waterproof and, with babies, you must use the cover, but for Josiah I just tried it without. It worked extremely well, especially with the liner, and was super absorbent. He did have an accident once with the diaper, but it did a great job of holding in the mess, only dripping a little, and allowed him to run to the restroom to finish. I was very impressed!

Side Snaps

This was the first side-snapping cover I've used and, though I don't see a difference in functionality, I just like the way it looks. It's different than the usual snaps or velcro. Plus, the AirFlow™ covers are available in several different prints and the Sandy's diapers are available in several different bright colors.

I've always heard great things about Mother-Ease and now I know why. Their diapers work well and are very reasonably priced. The Lg. Sandy's Introductory Offer Package I received  is only $21.95!! I've seen fitted diapers that cost more than that!
