Kaspersky PURE Review & Giveaway

I recently had the opportunity to review a new internet security program called Kaspersky PURE, created by Kaspersky Lab. With all of the issues I've had on my computer with viruses and spyware, I jumped on this opportunity immediately! I couldn't wait to get Kaspersky Lab Internet Security a try!

My Thoughts

My computer previously had no internet security at all and that was a huge mistake. Every week my computer had a new virus or some sort of spyware that I couldn't protect myself again and/or get rid of. I had heard of Kaspersky before and couldn't wait to try out the newest program, Kaspersky PURE on my brand new computer!

My first experience with the program was the download process. Sometimes this can be monotonous, slow, and/or confusing, but this process was very simple and really didn't take too long. There are a number of setting between which a user can choose, including scheduled backups of files. Believe me, this is super important. I no longer have any of Josiah's baby pictures because they were lost to a virus. I was so upset, but there's nothing I can do now.

In addition, there is a parental feature to monitor your children's internet usage, including the websites they visit. I, luckily, don't need to use this, but I could imagine it's very useful with teens in the house!

Kaspersky PURE retails for $89.95 for a 1-year license, and can be installed on up to 3 computers. That, in my opinion, is an amazing deal considering everything is does to protect your computers and the important files and information contained on them.
