Enter the CaringBridge & Hallmark Cards Caring Messages Card Contest #sponsored #MC

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for CaringBridge. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

When Liam was diagnosed with brain tumors and was scheduled to begin chemotherapy last year, I felt like no one really understood what we were going through. Shortly after, we were introduced to CaringBridge, a nonprofit website that is dedicated to bringing families together that are struggling with illnesses and tragedies. The website allows you to create a memoir and write entries about your family's experiences, which in itself is very therapeudic. In addition, you can read entries other CaringBridge members have written. Through the website, I was able to connect with many other families who have been through similar experiences and have a child diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis. It's such a wonderful support system and I can't say enough about it.

Celebrate & Support Caregivers
We are so grateful to all of the people who have helped Liam along his journey with NF. For us, Liam's nurses have been especially uplifting caregivers who have given love and attention to not only Liam, but our family. CaringBridge and Hallmark Cards are currently hosting the "Caring Messages" card contest during National Family Caregiver Month!
Until November 17th, the "Caring Messages" card contest wants participants to use their own personal experiences either as a caregiver OR as someone receiving care to create a special message of love and support for a caregiver.

How to Enter
Go HERE to enter the Caring Messages contest. You can submit one card idea in each of the following categories:

  • Support & Encouragement
  • Compliments & Appreciation
  • Words from the Wise

Let's support our caregivers and give them the recognition they so greatly deserve! I think this is such a worthwhile contest and hope you will all take the time to enter. Winners will be announced in February and will receive a cash prize! Plus, their winning entry will be sold at Hallmark.com with in-store sale to be determined. Wouldn't that be amazing? So, please take a few minutes and enter today!
