Bummis Swimmi Swim Diaper Review & GIveaway

Summer is coming to a close end and I am completely in denial! I just don't want the warm weather to end. In fact, we've even planned a beach vacation at the end of September so, the weather better stay nice for a bit longer! So, what does every baby need for a trip to the beach (besides sunscreen)? A Bummis Swimmi, of course!

Back in the 80s, Bummis started out as a home operation by 3 cloth diapering Mamas. Aspiring to show others how easy cloth diapering can be, the Canadian based company has grown into a leading cloth diapering company! Shirley and Betsy, the two Mamas behind the scenes, work to meet high environmental and safety standards for their company and products. About the Swimmi

Bummis Swimmi waterproof swim pants keep messes confined and baby comfortable when playing in the water! My Thoughts
I was so excited to finally review a swim diaper because I'd never tried one before until this summer! I've tried cloth diaper covers in the past, but, believe me, they don't work!! Unfortunately, I didn't receive the diaper in time for our first beach trip so, we filled our little kiddie pool for the boys! I received a Large Swimmi with the adorable clownfish print. Recommended for babies 22-30lbs, it was the perfect size to fit both of my boys! I originally wanted this for Liam, but Josiah loved the "Nemo fish". He's about 32 pounds, but they still fit him very well since he's such a skinny boy.

 I couldn't decide which of these pics was cuter! lol!

Once you try a cloth swim diaper,  you honestly will never go back to disposables. I'm not a big fan of disposables, but have used them in the past. I am pretty sure they leak and I know they are super uncomfortable. Josiah always complained about them. With the Bummis Swimmi he was in heaven. It didn't poof up and get bulky. It didn't make him uncomfortable at all, didn't give him a diaper rash, and, the biggest success, it didn't leak!
I highly recommend the Swimmi for any trips to the water! Your little one's tushy will definitely thank you. Plus, it's so nice not to have to deal with a soaking disposable leaking all over the floor. Instead, just pull off the Swimmi and wash it out! How great is that?
