Kailani at An Island Life has a really fun meme. It's a great way to link up, hop around new blogs, and find some new friends. All you do is post a simple question on your blog and go answer other people's questions on their blogs! So, you can just go to that link to find other Aloha Friday questions on other blogs, too! Cool, huh? :)
My Question of the Week:
Do you have a garden? If so, what do you plant? If not, would you like to have a garden and what would you want to plant?
My Answer:
I usually just plant random flowers that I think are pretty. Last year I tried potted tomato kits, but they didn't do a thing. This year, however, I have planted several different flowers, 2 tomato plants, have a patch of strawberries, and we have a blueberry bush that's pretty self-sufficient, thank goodness! :) I just bought a squash plant, too, but Josiah was overly eager to plant it and broke it to pieces. Poor squash!
Here are some last minute pics I took of the garden tonight with my Mother's Day present, a new digital camera! Yay! The pics didn't turn out very well, but it was dark, after all!
See the little dot of red? It's my first red ripe strawberry ever! Yay! :)
Josiah admiring... and trying to pick the strawberries! :) He is so excited, but who can blame him!?

Lastly, my little plot of flowers. It's unfinished, but getting there! :)
Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

I don't have much of a garden. My yard gets way too much sun, so until the trees grow up, there isn't much point in planting things that are only going to wither before they can produce. ;) I do, however, have two pots full of lettuce. Yum! Salad in a pot! :)
Glad your husband's feeling better. My son had a hernia surgery a month ago at 16 months old. 'Bout broke my heart.
We don't have a garden just yet.. we're living in a flat complex... but once we'll move to a house we'll definitely have a garden full of flowers:) love flowers:)
Happy Mother's day to you too!
Aloha!

We have a small indoor garden and hope to get some moved out but the last owners took all the topsoil so mostly we have LOTS OF ROCKS! LOL
We don't have a garden but I'd love to grow herbs and vegetables, etc. and some flowers of course. I'd love to have some flowering trees when we own our own house.
I don'r have a garden, but in my old house I loved to watch my roses bloom :-)
We're actually building our garden this year... I would love to have cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, onions, garlic, cabbage, blueberries and strawberries. There's probably more, but I can't remember...
As for flowers, the only flowers I really want are lilacs.
I don't have a garden. I'd love to grow vegetables.
I dont have a garden, apartment living sucks sometimes but I'd LOVE to have one, mostly flowers I'd want but some produce as well.

We have a lot of problems planting things here. Bunnies, birds and more attack things. This year we planted items in our indoor porch area. Last Saturday we put pickle cucumbers, roma tomatoes, rainbow peppers, serrano peppers, basil, peas, little pumpkins, and zucchnini. We have a ton of them sprouting already. This weekend hoping to start the strawberries that we bought last weekend.
Yes I have a garden. I am planting cucumbers, sugar snap peas, tomatoes & green beans. I also have a few raspberry bushes and lots of flowers.
Heyyyy! My son's name is Josiah too! Not many of us around. Good job naming your child. Lol
I think I will plant some tomatoes and peppers this year.
