For this dish, here is everything you need to purchase at the grocery store:
- Baby Spinach
- Honey Roasted Chopped Almonds
- Raisins
- Poppy Seed Dressing (we used Brianna's Home Style Poppy Seed Dressing, but there are other brands, too. Kroger also has their own Poppy Seed dressing that tastes great.)
Place spinach in a large bowl. We used the bag spinach, so it was just enough to fill up our mixing bowl. Then throw in a handful of almonds (to your liking) and 1/4 cup of raisins. Next, add in the poppy seed dressing. We include 2 Tablespoons (because I love the dressing), but you can add as much or as little as you want. It honestly doesn't take much! Lastly, lightly toss it all together to mix all the ingredients (if you don't mix thoroughly, the almonds will fall to the bottom, but once mixed, the dressing will hold them in place)!
This is such an easy salad to create and definitely makes an impression. A friend made it for me years ago and, to this day, it is my go-to salad when throwing a dinner party. It's pretty, delicious and a favorite for our family. Even my boys, who don't usually eat salad, go crazy for this one.

Yum. I love the addition of sweet and salty to the salad with the raisins and almonds. Thank you so much for joining us at Delicious Dish Tuesday.
