When I was in college, one of my good friends was on the equestrian team. I have to admit, I knew nothing much about horses until she started teaching me. I went to a few horse shows before she took me to a specialty store in Atlanta to buy new boots. I had no idea how expensive all of the gear could be!

Now that I'm a parent and an aunt, I'm seeing the other side of riding. My niece received a horse for her birthday and is very interested in riding now!
