With children in the picture, you really have to be prepared for anything. There are two ways I am constantly documenting our lives: photos and journals. First of all, you never know when you may need to snap a photo, so I always have a camera with me. From the moment my children were born, they've been photographed and it won't stop anytime soon. Another thing I make sure to do is write down all of the crazy things they say. My friends and family are well aware of the Josiahisms and Liamisms I post on social media and I've been told many times that I need to not only write them down, but keep them in one place. I may have them all written down, but they aren't all in one place. In fact, they are scattered everywhere. Photos are saved onto all of the computers I've had over the years, SD cards, albums and social media. Their infamous quotes are in journals, scrapbooks and on social media, too. Locating a specific memory is, needless to say, really difficult and near impossible.

A fun beach memory with the boys! |
We are such a very busy family and we are always on the go. My husband works hard all week, so when the weekend is here, we take full advantage of every second! We love going on little trips with our boys and have been on the go almost every weekend this year. Just recently we've gone to see Scooby Doo Live! and The Lion King in Atlanta, the boys went hiking with Papa in Tennessee and yesterday we hunted Easter eggs at Grandma's house. Plus, next weekend we are leaving for Florida to spend Easter at the beach. Maybe that gives you a little insight as to why I am constantly taking photos. I can't help myself, really, because there is always something going on and a reason to document life. My boys are growing up so quickly and I want to remember every single second.

A favorite Christmas memory of Liam as an angel |
So, after all these years, I am finally heeding the advice of friends and family because I found a great way to organize all of our memories.
Blinkbuggy is the answer to my photography addiction and will help me organize everything not only for myself, but for friends, family and children. Blinkbuggy was actually created by a mom who also wished to capture all of the special memories for her children. She, too, wrote down little milestones and reminders about things her children did or said, but had no way to preserve them all together. Searching online, she failed to find the perfect place to keep all of the memories together, which is what inspired her to create a modern day baby book!

Josiah & Papa hunting Easter eggs! |
I couldn't wait to see what all Blinkbuggy has to offer, so I immediately
downloaded the app on my iPhone and iPad since I always have one of those with me. This way I can snap photos on the go and upload them to my account. I did this yesterday during our Easter egg hunt and it was easy as pie! I love being able to use the app when on the go. Then, when I'm at home, I can access the my Blinkbuggy account on my laptop and work on perfecting everything I've uploaded and I can also add in more photos I have saved on my computer or social media.
I've been using Blinkbuggy for about a week now and absolutely love all the features. Being able to keep my photos and quotes in one place is really perfect for organizing and keeping our memories safely together. I only wish this had been created years ago because it is perfect for parents like me who want to document every little moment and make a keepsake for our children.

When adding memories, you can click to add a quote, note or photo! |
For my current album (you can create as many as you want), I'm organizing everything from 2013 to the present. First, I'm going through all of the photos I have saved on my computer. Then, I can access social media (Facebook, Google+ or Instagram) to add more photos. This feature is amazing and really has saved me so much time. Oh, I forgot to mention that as I add in photos, they can be view them in several different ways. I prefer the timeline view because the photos magically show up in order of date they were taken. Once all of my photos are added, I'm going to go through and find all of the quotes and memories I've written down via journals and social media for the year.

You can view your memories via grid, most recent, carousel, timeline or as a collection! |
It looks like I have a lot of work to do and, in the meantime, I'll be adding in all of the new memories to my album. I can't wait to see the finished product. As rewarding as that will be, you know what makes it even better? Of course, you can share the albums with friends and family members as is, but Blinkbuggy also allows members to make print projects. You can create memory books, custom frame memories and even make personalized note cards. The memory books look wonderful and I have to make one when I'm finished!
