The Many Uses of Window Blinds

When we moved into our new home, there was one thing I automatically noticed was missing. There were no blinds on the windows! This definitely made the home look empty, like something was missing. Plus, as a parent, blinds are very important, especially when you have a baby. When we brought Liam home as a preemie, he slept a good deal of the day and, unless it was dark in his room, he would fuss and cry. Recently, my parents decided to purchase wooden blinds for their home and, when I came to visit, I could not believe how beautiful they looked. Updating Our Kitchen & Dining Room With Beautiful Furniture

I love decorating our new cabin and giving it a new, updated sense of style. We've taken it from 1970s mid-western style to a beautiful 2012 designer cabin that we absolutely love! The one room on which I put a great deal of focus is our kitchen/dining room area because I love to cook and spend a lot of time there. I had, in my mind, a vision of how I wanted to decorate and what pieces I would like. Decorating A Home With Beautiful Contemporary Furniture

 We are moving to a new home in the near future and, once we find the right place, my favorite part of moving will begin: decorating! This will be my first chance at really decorating the right way and I can't wait.
