Boon Frog Pod & Boon Bug Pod Review & Giveaway (Ends 10/05)

As a parent, one of the things I struggle with the most is organization. It's tough with two children running in two different directions, throwing toys as they go. Not to mention, all the clothing they outgrow ever other month! It's enough to make your head spin like the girl on The Exorcist. They items are unique, colorful and modern. They appeal to the fashionable parent and the colors definitely catch the eye of babies and children.

The designer of Boon, Rebecca Finell,  actually got her inspiration from the mess of toys in the bathtub. I'm sure you know all about those floating toys that always get stuck in the drain, never get put away, and are so annoying when trying to get in the shower or bath! They just won't stay put on the side of the bathtub either. That's why she invented the Frog Pod. 

What's the Frog Pod?

 The Frog Pod is the ultimate bath toy and organizer! The Frog attaches to your bathtub wall and has a huge toy storage area that also detaches and serves as a scoop in the bathtub. The scoop helps you gather and rinse toys after bath time! This ingenious idea will keep kids interested in helping you clean up toys again and again. There is also a built-in shelf to hold shampoo, bath wash, etc. 

My Thoughts

I have wanted a Frog Pod by Boon for since I first spotted one at Target a few years ago. It looked so cute and I knew it would prove to be useful. Two years and another child later, I knew I really, really needed a Frog Pod. The bath toys were piling up, along with the soap crayons, markers, and bath time books. You know all of the amusing toys that keep kids wanting to take a bath every night? I'm pretty sure we have them all!

As soon as the Frog Pod arrived, I had to install it. We just moved into our new house and, with more bathrooms, we designated one specifically for the kiddos! Installing the Frog Pod was super easy. It had adhesives on the back that are super strength to hold it onto the wall. After sitting for over 24 hours, it's ready to be used. You can also screw it into the wall, but we didn't want to make it a permanent fixture.

Josiah was so excited to see a frog in his bathtub and, after he found out the scoop detaches, he couldn't wait to give it a try. I was a little worried that the toys, shampoo and bath wash would end up being too much weight for the adhesive strips, but it has held steadily since we installed a month ago. I love that it has encouraged the kids to help clean up after bath time and that I never have to step on toys again.

I can't say one bad thing about the Frog Pod! It's an amazing product that all parents should have. We used to have toys all over the bathtub and all around the bathroom, too. I had a little plastic container to keep them in beside the bathtub, but they, of course, never stayed in there. Now, all the toys have a home and the bathroom is tidier than ever before. Plus, the frog is just so cute. It really adds to the decor in the children's bathroom. As you can see, the kiddos definitely approve of their new Frog Pod.
