We are so excited to announce that the AVEENO® Be An Active Natural™ Fund has found its THIRD winner, Rachelle Roper of Belleview, Florida and her organization Feed the Need Garden!

About Rachelle:

While growing up, Rachelle learned all there is to know about gardening and producing her own food. During the economic downturn she recognized the need to share her insight with others in her community. From there, Feed the Need Garden was born, a non-profit with the mission “to end hunger locally by teaching those in need how to grow and preserve their own food.” Rachelle organizes local seminars where she educates those willing to learn her craft. In addition, Rachelle has donated a plot of her very own land to create what she calls, “the teaching garden,” where she invites locals to learn best practices first hand.

This fund is awarding $10,000 grants on a monthly basis to people who are making a positive difference in their communities.
