Dunkin' Donuts Coffee With New Delicious Seasonal Flavors

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom CentralConsulting for DunkinDonuts. I received a DunkinDonuts Party Kit to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Living in a rural area, our dining options are quite limited. So, when we noticed a sign posted near home announcing the opening of a new Dunkin' Donuts, the boys were so excited, especially Josiah. I have to admit, I was excited, too. The boys love the Donut Holes and I am a Boston Creme fan. Of course, when our Dunkin' Donuts opened, we were there within a day and I decided to try out their coffee for the first time.

Let me back up and say I am very picky about my coffee, so liking Dunkin' Donuts is really saying something. Some coffee is not strong enough and others are too strong for me, but their coffee is just right for me. After trying their coffee in-store, I noticed it at our grocery store, too, and had to give it a try. I was amazed at how great it tasted. Being able to make a cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee anytime is just satisfying and I love brewing it when we have special guests! I actually made it for my parents when they were visiting earlier this year and my mom also loved it. When I was asked to throw a fun party with friends and family to introduce the new Dunkin' Donuts Spring line of seasonal flavored coffee, I was so excited and couldn't wait to give the new flavors a try!

What are the new flavors?

  • Coconut
  • Triple Berry
  • Strawberry Shortcake

Who came to our party?
Well, I threw the party in conjunction with my nephew's 2nd birthday party. What better time for all the mamas to try some delicious coffee, right? We always give out gift bags for the kiddos, but at this party, the mamas got a gift bag, too, and they could not have been happier. Plus, we all needed a little pick-me-up after running around all day!

First, we made the Triple Berry coffee to start the party. As we all sat around chatting and watching the kids go crazy playing with each other, the coffee was actually relaxing and really did have the essence of spring time.
The kiddos being entertained while we mamas enjoyed our coffee!
To go along with the chocolate cupcakes for dessert and fruit cups, we made the Strawberry Shortcake blend Dunkin' Donut Coffee, which was a HUGE hit. Even some of the husbands chimed in to say it was delicious. I was shocked when my own husband agreed and he doesn't even drink coffee! While some of the ladies had tried the coffee in-store, some had no idea it was available at the grocery store. They were excited to not only find out about it, but to receive a coupon in their gift bags.
The delicious eats! The strawberry shortcake coffee was perfect with the chocolate cupcakes!
Each of the guests also got a one full-size bag coffee to take home with them and try out, too. My sister-in-law ended up with the Coconut blend and said she was a little skeptical, but gave the Coconut Iced Coffee recipe a try that was included in the gift bag. What did she think? Her exact words were, "It was so yummy!" I cannot wait to give it a try.

My sister-in-law said she enjoyed the coconut flavor and thought it added something special to the coffee that was not at all overwhelming. In fact, that seemed to be the consensus about all of the new seasonal flavors. The flavor was part of the coffee and did not overpower the coffee flavor mixed in with it. The flavors mixed well together to make three great coffee blends that I think everyone would enjoy. They definitely have a hint of spring in them and I think they are perfect for this season.

Want to give them a try? These delicious spring seasonal flavors are only available for a limited time in grocery stores, so go get yours today. Do not delay because you do not want to miss out on these. Believe me!

Nothing Is Better Than Delicious Freshly Brewed Coffee & Tea!

When I worked on a college campus, I was able to ride my bike to the downtown area and walk to work. I loved walking through the downtown area in the mornings with the crisp air waking me with every step and the smell of coffee in the air. I never noticed how great coffee smelled until then and, more than ever before, I enjoyed a nice cup before work. The taste is so different when freshly ground and brewed, something I now crave in the mornings before starting my day.

Now that I live in the mountains, finding freshly ground coffee is not as available, which is why I was so excited to find Ringtons Beverages. They sell everything you need to make delicious coffee for a business or even in the comfort of your own home. I was absolutely amazed at how many grinders they have for sale, all at great prices, too. I can grind coffee beans for coffee espresso every day and start the day out right.

My mom and dad both love coffee, too, so I have to stock up for when they visit. My mom prefers hers with coffee syrups, so those are great to have around. Since they are coming for my son's birthday in a few weeks, I just bought her favorite hazelnut coffee syrup. It really does add a great flavor to coffee beverages.
My dad, on the other hand, prefers to drink tea, so I have to stock up on something totally different for him. His favorite is black tea and Ringtons has a great selection of teas, including 2-cup tea bags that are perfect for a small teapot for my dad. I cannot wait for him to try out the new tea I bought and know he is oging to love the flavor.

Do you prefer freshly ground coffee or would you rather have a hot soothing cup of tea?

Ringtons Beverages? They do stuff like wholesale coffee, tea, coffee syrups, grinders and machines!

Top 10 Ways To Make Your On-The-Go Life Easier & More Efficient

There is something to be said about a vacation with two children, especially when you really aren't prepared. That's why we always take time to plan out our trips before they happen. I know you can't predict everything, but at least we can be somewhat ready for anything that comes our way! We just got back from the beach and with each vacation comes an educational lesson of something we did wrong. Phew! Yes, there is always at least one thing we regretted doing or learned to avoid the next time. Without further ado, here's my list of 10 Tips For Making Life Easier & More Efficient While On The Go!

1. Wake Up! Maybe this isn't true for everyone, but I need my cup of coffee or iced latte in the morning! My new fav right now is Seattle's Best. They have an awesome canned Iced Latte that is great for on-the-go. I can keep it in the diaper bag and whip it out in the car while driving down the road! Yum!

 2. Plan It Out- Going on a trip? Take time to plan out a few things and prepare for possibilities. What will the weather be like? Keep in mind possible changes in weather like rain or snow. If you make a list of what you need, chances are you will forget much less than usual. lol!

3. Where are we going? I love having a computer. Just take some time to research where you are going, what you and the family would enjoy doing, and go from there! Even if you are just going to a store, what's the best/fastest route?

4. Make Sure You Get Some Sleep! The best thing to do before a day on the go is to get some sleep. I have to get at least 7 hours when traveling. Otherwise, I am not all there and not at my best for driving. The same goes for children. Nothing is worse than a sleepy grouchy kiddo when you have a full day ahead.

 5. Don't Shop Til You Drop! Okay, shopping with children is a chore. No longer are the days when you could shop all day. Eck! Go in the morning (the with kids) or later at night (if they aren't with you) because there will be so many less people! Make a list of what you need, organize those coupons and set out on your mission. It can save so much time!

6. What's More Important! I am a big fan of lists. In addition to the lists of things to pack and things to buy, make your master list of things you need to do for the day. Then, put them in order of importance. This way you can get the essentials out of the way first and do the other things later... or the next day!

7. Don't Forget to Eat! Take a moment to stop and breathe! Get your coffee (Iced Latte!), sandwich, or just something to replenish your system and keep you going. This way you aren't totally exhausted and feeling like you might bite someone's head off... like the poor cashier who can't find the price for your items.

8. Keep the kids entertained! You need to keep the kids happy, but how? Do you have a dvd player in the car? We don't, but if you do, DVDs are a must. We keep our Yo Gabba Gabba cds in the car and I always pack some toys for the go. They can play with them in the cart at the store and in the car.

9. Have the kids ready in time! I may get a gasp for this, but I have been known to get the kids ready the night before, especially the baby. I give them baths at night and, for Liam, I just dress him in a little one-piece. That way he is ready to go in the morning. One less thing I need to do, for sure! It's harder to do for a toddler, but at least he can get up, brush his teeth, and do some things on his own. :)

10. Get the Grandparents!! When all else fails, call the grandparents. They love their grandkids and you love to let them visit. Admit it, you love it! We all need a break and, let's face it, we get 10x as much done in a day when the kids are somewhere else... even for just a few hours!

I'm sure there are many, many tips I could add to this. They chance every time I go out or on vacation. I think it really depends on the person, the kids, and the family, for sure. Shoot, just last week we learned that it's much better for us to make an 8 hour trip all at once! No stopping halfway for us at a hotel with a strange crib and setting for the baby. None of us got any sleep at all. Never again! LOL! What about you? What are your must-do ways to prepare for a day on the go?
