I just love our pets and think our dogs are just adorable! A few weeks ago I
shared some pictures of them. Lucy and Jack have been a part of our family since adopting the brother and sister pups three years ago. They are so sweet and loving. Plus, the kids are crazy about them! I think they are two extraordinary dogs, but, of course, I am a little biased.

"How is Your Dog Great", which is running from now until August 27th, 2012. You only have a few weeks left to get those videos in, so get those cameras out and start taping your dogs in all their glory. All you have to do is upload a short film (less than 2 minutes), to the
Pro Plan YouTube Channel. The video you submit should show those particular moments your dog shows greatness that would inspire others to find greatness in their own dogs!

shown at the 2013 Westminster Kennel Club All Breed Dog Show. The
winner will receive a trip for 2 plus their dog to the Westminster
Kennel Club Dog Show in New York, which includes round-trip airfare and

Now that I've told you all about the
Purina® Pro Plan® "How is Your Dog Great" video contest, it is only fair that I tell you about something great about Lucy and Jack. These tiny dogs are still full of energy and mite. They are great protectors and are leery of any new visitors in our home. It's really like having our own security system because they know, before anyone else, if someone is coming to our door, whether or not they are driving a car. It's quite uncanny and we can't figure it out, but they always know! They, of course, like to check out all new people before giving them their approval, too, so they are quite protective of our little family.
