My Thoughts
Both of my boys love to help me in the kitchen, play with the bowls and pretend to cook, so I knew the Step2 LifeStyle Welcome Home Kitchen would be a hit! They could barely wait for me to get all the pieces together, which honestly didn't take very long.. I love that it was so simple to assemble and also relatively light-weight. I have, on numerous occasions, hauled it into the kitchen while trying to cook dinner so the boys could "make dinner", too.
The LifeStyle Kitchen Table & Chairs Set was even easier to assemble! The parts just basically clicked into place and the set was ready for playtime. We've used the table for snack-time as well as arts and crafts. It's the perfect size for my little ones. We used to do our arts and crafts on the floor, which usually made a big mess for me to scrub off the hardwood, but now we use the table. The boys can sit and easily reach the center of the table. I love that it also matches the kitchen perfectly and all the other decor in Josiah's room as well.
I knew they would enjoy the new kitchen, but I had no idea how much time they would actually spend playing together, helping each other. Not only has the kitchen been a wonderful tool for expanding their imagination, but they've learned to work together, inventing new foods for me to try!
