My Thoughts
I jumped on the opportunity to give these a try because I'm always looking for delicious, healthy snacks for the kids. I wasn't sure what they would think, but thought it was worth a try. These are nothing like Fig Newtons, which I think is a good thing. I'm not much of a fan.
We received the Blueberry Brown Sugar Newtons Fruit Thins. As soon as I opened the container, the smell of delicious blueberries came out. Yum! The thins are cookies and, of course, shaped like cookies, which is a definite plus for the kids. And the taste? It reminds me of a blueberry muffin!
The kids just finished off the batch yesterday. I was very surprised at their love of the new Newtons Fruit Thins and will definitely be purchasing more for the future. They loved them as a snack after nap time and often asked for them as a dessert after dinner. How could I resist giving it to them when it's such a healthy treat? This is the kind of snack I can give to them without feeling guilty about all the sugars and other unhealthy ingredients!
Ready to give them a try? They are now available at most national grocery and food stores! I saw them at Kroger and Wal-Mart just this week. You should absolutely give them a try. I'm not sure about the other flavors, but the blueberry was a hit!
A special thanks to One2One Network and Nabisco for the wonderful review opportunity. The Newton Fruit Thins were sent for review purposes and no other compensation was given. All opinions written are completely and 100% mine.
