Mary's Softdough

Josiah loves arts and crafts so we color, paint, and work on projects pretty much every day. I saw something on tv a while ago about making your own play dough. We gave it a try, but it honestly just turned into a big sticky mess and was much more trouble that I expected. This is when I searched online for an alternative dough using natural ingredients and stumbled across Terrapin Toys, the creators of Mary's Softdough!

Mary started making her special softdough in 1988 to sell at her local farmer's market! Originally made by her mother, Mary took the recipe and has expanded her softdough line to include many wonderful additions that maker her dough so special. She has created a variety of scented softdough, including a line of naturally scented dough. Mary's Softdough also includes glow-in-the-dark, glitter, classic colors and rainbow tubs!

Mary's Softdough is recommended for children 3 and up. Made of non-toxic ingredients and scented with essential oils, it's safe to eat, but it's extremely salty so I don't expect little ones will go back for seconds after satisfying their curiosity!

My Thoughts
We received each of the naturally scented Mary's Softdough varieties: orange, lavender, lemon, peppermint, rose, and vanilla. Also included was a Softdough Tool Set and a Rainbow Softdough tub! I couldn't wait to smell all of the scents, which were all surprisingly strong and smelled delicious. I love the orange and lavender scents, but Josiah was a fan of vanilla and rose.

We took everything along with us to the beach, which came in quite handy on a rainy day! My niece, nephew, and son had a ball guessing the scents, mixing them together to create a new scent, and using the tool set to make new shapes. What surprised me the most was that, after several days of play, Mary's Softdough was still just as soft as the day we opened it. Whenever we use other brands (i.e. Play-Doh), they tend to dry up pretty quickly. Mary also provided a great tip: Whenever her softdough starts to dry up, add a little oil to make it nice and soft again!

We absolutely love Mary's Softdough and will be buying more in the future! Josiah wants to play with it every day and, I must admit, I enjoy playing with it, too. It's just so soft and squishy! About a month ago we received a package of Attune Chocolate Probiotic Bars to review. My husband is a complete chocoholic so, I knew he would love to give them a try!

My Thoughts
Being that the chocolate was shipped in the middle of summertime here in the south, I was worried I would get a box full of melted chocolate mess, but Attune packed the chocolate with two heavy-duty cold packs so everything would stay nice and cold! What a nice surprise. We received a week's supply of several different flavors- Chocolate Crisp, Dark Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, and Blueberry Vanilla. Yum!

We use probiotic rice cereals for Liam and they have a slight odor to them so my main concern was that the Attune Probiotic Bars would have a strange taste as well. The Hubs is quite the chocolate aficionado so, he put each chocolate bar to the test and thanks to Attune I now have an addict on my hands! He absolutely loved them and the fact that he could eat one each day. Usually I have to hide chocolate from him. Since they are great for on-the-go snacking, he packed one with his lunch each day. (I'm convinced this was his attempt to keep little fingers off of them so he could keep them all to himself!!)

Attune Chocolate Probiotic Bars are delicious and the benefits were noticeable even after one week. The Hubs has a very sensitive stomach and reflux on an almost daily basis. He's stomach didn't bother him as much while eating Attune bars and he said he just felt better and more energetic. So, he got to eat delicious chocolate and improve his digestive system! This has, by far, been is favorite product review and he couldn't wait to go out and buy more. His favorite was the Mint Chocolate Bar.

I'd Like to introduce Josiah's "Baby", which is a fox 'n' socks stuffed animal. My Thoughts

Every time I use it I still have to take a moment to prepare myself for the burning sensation, but the pain is completely worth end results! 

Headache Buster was very similar to Sinus Buster, but seemed to burn a little less... or maybe I am finally just getting used to the pain. lol. One thing I loved about Headache Buster is the yummy peppermint. Everytime I breathe I could feel that tingly mint sensation. I love that feeling!

Overall, I am very happy with both Sinus and Headache Buster products! Not only do they work well, but we avoid ingesting any possible harmful substances. I also enjoy not having to lose my senses of smell and taste just to breath, which always happened with other sinus sprays I've used in the past.
