Freschetta Proud To Support Pink Fundraiser & Giveaway

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Freschetta is doing what they can do help the cause by presenting their Freschetta Proud to Support Pink program. From September 25th until October 31st, specially marked packages of Freschetta Pizzas and Artisan Pizza Crusts contain codes that can be entered on the Proud to Support Pink website. For each entry, Freschetta will donate $1 to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Such a wonderful cause!!

How many of you know someone who has had cancer? How many of you are survivors? It's an issue we should all take very seriously. Let's do our part to spread breast cancer awareness, just like Freschetta.

In addition to the promotion above to raise money, Freshetta will be giving away 50 pink iPod Shuffle players each week in October AND they will be donating another 50 iPod Shuffles to four cancer centers in the U.S.



My Thoughts on Freschetta Pizza
I received a coupon for a free Freschetta Pizza and decided to try something different from our usual pepperoni or cheese pizzas. We ended up getting the Freschetta Naturally Rising Canadian Style Bacon & Pineapple pizza. I couldn't wait to try it, so we actually ate it the same night we bought it.

My husband is not usually very fond of pizza, so he wasn't looking forward to eating it as much as I was. We cooked it in the oven for a little under 20 minutes and it was ready to eat. The delicious smell from the oven was killing us and, once it was done and we got to eat, we devoured that pizza. Seriously, there wasn't even one piece left. Everything tasted very fresh, even the pineapple. The Freschetta Naturally Rising Canadian Style Bacon & Pineapple Pizza is now my favorite frozen pizza on the market.
