  2. My very first cloth diaper was a Thirsties cover and some thrift store prefolds. They weren't my first choice, but they were what I could afford and they were a step up from sposies so I dealt with it until I could afford some pockets :)

  3. My first diaper was a bumGenius 3.0 - I loved it! It was so cute and fluffy on my son! I started with 3 diapers that turned to 6 and then to 9 and then...well, I have a lot now. BG's were my first diaper and they still make up the majority of my stash, I love them!

  13. My first diaper for my kids were prefolds from the local diaper service and Diaperwrap covers. I liked the cover at the time. (I didn't have a lot of resources then such as the internet, so I was pretty limited.)

  60. First, well, my mom had me in prefolds with the plastic covers when I was little. But the first ones I used on my kid was an AIO. I didn't know too much about diapers and I knew there had to be a better way to dry them, so I came up with the AI2 only to realize it had already been done. But I did love the diapers, I especially loved it when I'd be with my friends and their babies were leaking out with blowouts and my kid never had any while wearing the cloth diapers, they always kept in the mess.

  68. Our first cloth (hybrid) diaper was a gDiaper ... and we thought it was AMAZING! :)

Our youngest can't handle the harsh chemicals in disposable diapers, and had a horrible bleeding rash the first few weeks of life. :( Within a day or two of being in gDiapers, it was gone. We've used all sorts of cloth in the 3 years since, but we'll always love our gDiapers!

My first cloth diapers were prefolds and Mother-ease fitteds. Two years later prefolds are still our go-to because I know they are going to be absorbent enough for our heavy wetter. I have never liked the mother-ease. They are not near absorbent enough even with the booster.
