The Baby Store Plus Review & $25 Giveaway

As I mentioned in my last post, I went searching for new cloth diaper resources online when I was pregnant with Liam. One of the other stores I stumbled across was The Baby Store Plus! Anna, the owner, sells baby items, children's items and toys, cloth diapers, maternity clothes, and other Mama items! I actually just wrote my last spotlight post about Anna. Click HERE to read that post and learn more about the hardworking Mama who was inspired to open her store after 10 years of planning and waiting for the perfect time! Plus, she offers valuable advice for other Mamas looking to start up their own businesses! As a Mama who is also interested in possibly starting a business at some point, I find her thoughts to be refreshing and encouraging!

If you live anywhere near Cortez, Colorado, you've probably been to or heard about The Baby Store Plus located on West Main Street! After 2 years of successfully continuing to grow, Anna expanded the business to include an online store. She's very happy she did due to sales and I know many people who are just as happy and grateful that she did! Those who know Anna only have kind words to say and, after speaking with her and writing emails, I can see why.

For my review, I was given a $25 credit to spend and, as usual, I couldn't control myself and spent a bit more than that. :) The hardest part, honestly, was deciding what to purchase! Her store offers something for just about everyone... well, except my husband! Pages and pages of toys, cloth diapers, maternity clothes, and other baby accessories fill the online store and, to my delight, I searched for the perfect items several times!

Once I decided on my order, which included a bag of Rockin' Green Cloth Diaper Detergent in Smashing Watermelons Scent and a Bing the Bumblebee Zoobies, I easily filled out all of my payment information and the order was set in motion. Sometimes when ordering from a new store I get a little nervous about the payment and wonder- was the payment really received? How long will it take for my order to be delivered? Well, within minutes of ordering, I received an email confirming that my order and payment were, indeed, received, and were being processed! Isn't that wonderful? I wish more stores offered some sort of confirmation like that.


As for the items I ordered, I am Rockin' a soak for the first time with my Smashing Watermelons and the smell is wafting up the stairs! I don't think it smells like watermelon to me, but it smells sweet and yummy! Now, what are Zoobies, you might be wondering? I wondered the same thing when my friend, Nancy, first mentioned that Anna sold them. I'm sure you've seen Pillow Pets either on commercials or in the store. Well, Zoobies are very similar, but they are a stuffed animal, pillow, and a blanket! The blanket stuffs inside the animal to create the pillow or you can easily pull out the blanket when you get cold. Isn't that awesome? Josiah has wanted a Pillow Pet for a while, but I know he will love the Zoobies Bumblebee much more! Zoobies make perfect Christmas presents and are great for the coming cold weather, too! I can't say enough about them. They are great!
